During the last year, whenever the events for realizing the objectives were organized or contacts were made male youth were simply silent observers.

After considering the situation, we arrived at the conclusion that youth should be involved in promoting this type of programme. Therefore as an experiment we identified five youth and had a preliminary meeting with them. Initially the response was not much encouraging. But it also

revealed that systematic efforts would deliver better result.

While conducting meetings of youth, Issue related to them were addressed first The issues addressed were.
• Education, situation of schools in villages.
• Unemployment , Agriculture development.
• Habits of village youth.

10. Learning and Experience’s from these various programme:

While working in these various activities, senior workers and women organizers gained some experiences and learned a lot. The highlights of learning’s and experiences of senior workers are;

• After 7th std, many girls could not continue their further education. The reasons are:
• There are no facilities for further education in a village.
• Parents are unwilling to send their daughters to another village for further education because of the fear that girls may be abused.
• The main cause of the Blind faith & traditions is illiteracy in village.
• Village elders don’t allow conducting women’s meeting in Hanuman Mandir . Therefore meetings had to arrange in open space. Later on it revealed that feeling of untouchability prevented them from allowing conducting women’s meetings in the temple.
• Village are still under the influence of male female inequality. Therefore in public meetings male-female are not allowed to sit together. Result is that it becomes difficult to communicate with women in such meetings.
• Good sign is workers team is identified as a team working for prevention of social custom’s.

11. Learning and experiences of women organizer’s:
• Organizers after coming in contact with people gained the confidence, developed communication skill and now they feel that they can convince the people about the issue.
• They are recognized as some one special in the village working for their community.
• They feel that they are exposed to wider world and environment.
• They are opinion that monthly meetings provide them new knowledge and information and new experience also.
• They feel happy that they are contributing in eradication of social evil like superstition.
• This work provided them first time opportunity to come out of homes and work for communities.
• Interactions with communities increased Friendship with adolescent girls could be developed.
